Our CEO, Michał Łukasik, together with our Head of Business Development, Aleksander Rutkowski, took part in the “Bridging Borders: Poland–Latvia Fintech Collaboration” roundtable organized by Fintech Poland, Magnetiq Bank, and the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Riga.
The conversations focused on strengthening cross-border cooperation, regulatory frameworks, opportunities for joint business initiatives, but also on the practical realities of building and scaling international fintech businesses. One of the most valuable aspects of the discussion was the open exchange around real-world operational challenges - from differences in local market approaches and regulatory expectations to the broader macroeconomic and business environment shaping fintech growth in the region.
A particularly inspiring takeaway was the openness of the Latvian regulator toward innovation and new technologies. Transparent communication, collaboration with the market, and a business-friendly approach make Latvia an increasingly attractive destination for fintech growth - perhaps even a “Singapore of Europe” in the making.
Later in the evening, we were honored to participate in an exclusive meeting with the Head of Mission of the Republic of Poland in Latvia, Tomasz Szeratics. It was a great opportunity to summarize key conclusions and outline further steps for strengthening cooperation in the fintech sector.
