Michał Łukasik speaks on the evolving European lending landscape at AEMIP Assembly in Madrid

In June 2026 we had the pleasure of participating in the AEMIP Assembly in Madrid.

The meeting focused on reviewing the organization's performance and financial results for the 2025 fiscal year.

During the event, our CEO, Michał Łukasik, joined Alisa Cevere and Noelia Morgade for a panel discussion on the evolving landscape of lending regulations across Europe. Moderated by Vitali Yermakou, the session provided valuable insights into a topic of critical importance for AEMIP members and the broader financial services industry.

Drawing on the Polish market experience, Michał shared his perspective on how lending products are evolving, how customer profiles are changing, and how financial institutions are adapting to increasing regulatory requirements and local supervisory frameworks. The panel also compared Spain’s CCD2 draft proposal with approaches adopted in other European countries, highlighting both common challenges and market-specific solutions.

It was a highly engaging discussion that underscored the importance of knowledge sharing and cross-border collaboration.
