
In June 2026 we had the pleasure of joining the Fintech Roadshow organized by Fintech Poland and Bird & Bird where Alicja Łosowska, our Head of Compliance, took part in a panel discussion on PSR and the future of open finance.
Together with Barbora Růžičková (Dobrá) from Bird & Bird and Taras Gorkun from Bank Credit Dnipro, Alicja discussed some of the key regulatory developments shaping the European fintech landscape. The conversation, moderated by Marta Stanisławska (Bird & Bird), focused on the practical challenges and opportunities ahead for financial data sharing.
- PSR: evolution with meaningful improvements
While PSR is not a revolution for AISPs, it addresses several long-standing pain points of PSD2. Stronger obligations for banks, improved API performance, greater harmonization across the EU, and the extension of SCA renewal to 180 days should reduce friction for both users and providers while supporting the continued growth of the Open Banking ecosystem.
- Open finance: moving ahead, with or without FiDA
Open finance is already becoming a reality through premium APIs and embedded finance solutions. The key question is no longer whether financial data will be shared, but under what conditions. Success will depend on transparency, customer trust, and giving users clear control over how their data is used.
